The Gardening Cat

A black cat sitting squarely in a tray of seedlings, entirely composed, having flattened every one of them. Painted in gouache in the manner of a 1940s natural history plate — terracotta, olive, ochre and espresso.

The hoodie

A cropped pullover in soft cotton-poly fleece, cut with a dropped shoulder and left with a raw hem at the cuffs and waist — unfinished on purpose, so the edges soften rather than fray. Substantial for a cropped piece at 8 oz, with a dyed-to-match drawcord.
