Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
The rules of buying from us. Written to be read, not to be skipped.
Before we start
Plain English, then the detail
These terms form a contract between you and us the moment you place an order. We've written them in ordinary language, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.
By using this site or buying from it, you accept them. If you don't, that's genuinely fine — but please don't order.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "Wild Hollow" mean Wild Hollow Co., and "you" means the person placing the order. They're written for consumers buying for personal use — if you're buying to resell, contact us first, because different terms apply. You can reach us any time at info@wildhollowco.com.

1Using this site
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering you confirm you're old enough and that the information you give us is accurate.
We currently sell and ship to addresses in the United States only. We can't accept orders for delivery elsewhere, and we'll cancel and refund any that slip through.
2Products and how they're described
What to expect
Every item is printed to order on blank garments and goods sourced by our production partners. Our artwork is created digitally, in the visual style of mid-century field guide illustration — we describe how we make it openly on the About page.
Colour and print variation
Screens differ from print. Colours you see on your monitor or phone will not match the finished item exactly, and two items printed on different days may differ slightly from each other. Variation within normal production tolerance is not a fault. Specifically:
- Minor colour differences between screen and print
- Print placement variation of up to roughly half an inch
- Garment measurements within one inch of the published size guide
- A faint smell or light residue on new printed garments, which washes out
- Small variations in embroidery stitch density and texture, where applicable
Sizing
Size guides are published on each product page and are your responsibility to check before ordering. Because items are made to order, we cannot exchange for a different size — see section 8.
Availability
Designs may be withdrawn at any time. We don't guarantee that any design will remain available, and we're under no obligation to reprint one we've retired.
3Prices and launch pricing
What you pay, and why it moves
All prices are in US dollars and are the full amount payable. Shipping is free on every order and no sales tax is added at checkout. What's on the product page is what leaves your account.
New designs launch at their lowest price for seven days.
After that week the price increases. This is a genuine pricing structure, not a countdown that resets — once the launch window closes for a design, that price does not come back.
Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed and confirmed. Promotional prices apply only while the promotion runs and can't be applied retroactively to an earlier order.
Pricing errors
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price — a clear mistake, not merely a good deal — we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it. We'll tell you before we do. If the correct price is lower than the one you paid, we'll charge the lower price.
4How an order becomes a contract
The moment it's binding
Product listings are an invitation to buy, not an offer. Placing an order is your offer to purchase. Our order confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we received it, not yet an acceptance.
The contract is formed when we send the item to production. Before that point we may decline an order — if the item is unavailable, the price was wrong, we can't ship to your address, our fraud checks flag it, or we reasonably believe the order isn't genuine. If we decline, you're refunded in full and we owe you nothing further.
5Payment
In full, up front
We accept credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is taken in full when you place the order, because production begins immediately and there's no stock to reserve.
You confirm that the payment method is yours or that you have permission to use it. If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank may apply conversion rates and foreign transaction fees that we neither set nor receive. Full detail is on the Payment Policy page.
6Production and delivery
Estimates, not promises
Items are typically made within 2–7 business days and delivered within a further 3–8 business days, so most orders arrive within 5–12 business days. These are estimates and are not guaranteed. Time is not of the essence in this contract.
Orders may be split across production facilities and arrive in more than one parcel, each with its own tracking. Risk of loss and damage passes to you on delivery to the address you provided.
The delivery address is your responsibility.
If a parcel is returned or lost because the address you supplied was incomplete or incorrect, we're not obliged to replace or refund it. A made-to-order item can't be resold, so we'd have to charge you for a reprint.
Full timings and the lost-parcel procedure are on the Shipping & Delivery page, which forms part of these terms.
7Cancellations
A very short window
You may cancel for a full refund only before your order enters production, which is usually within a few hours of ordering. Email us immediately and we'll do what we can. Once production has begun, the item is being made specifically for you and cannot be cancelled.
We may cancel an order at any point before production for the reasons in section 4, refunding you in full.
8Faults and replacements
No returns, and here's what instead
Because every item is made to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges — including for a change of mind, or where you ordered the wrong size or colour.
Where an item is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, we'll replace it free of charge. Report it to us within 30 days of delivery with a clear photograph showing the problem. Keep the original item — do not send anything back. The full process, and what does and doesn't qualify, is set out on the Returns & Replacements page, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to goods that are faulty or not as described.
9Intellectual property
The artwork stays ours
All artwork, designs, product photography, text, and the layout of this site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Buying a product buys you the product, not the artwork on it. You own the physical item and may use it, wear it, gift it and resell that individual item. You may not:
- Reproduce, copy or print our designs onto anything
- Sell, license or distribute our artwork in any form, physical or digital
- Use our designs commercially, including in your own products or branding
- Scan, photograph or otherwise digitise the artwork to recreate it
- Remove or alter any credit, label or mark we've applied
"Wild Hollow", "Wild Hollow Co." and our logo are our trade marks. Please don't use them without our written permission.
If you believe something on this site infringes your intellectual property, email us with the details and we'll look into it promptly.
10Photos you send us
A narrow permission
When you report a problem you'll send us a photograph. You keep ownership of it. You grant us permission to use it for the limited purpose of assessing your claim and processing it with our production partners.
We won't publish your photo, use it in marketing, or share it beyond what's needed to resolve your claim, unless you separately agree. If you'd like us to feature a photo you've sent, tell us — we'd be delighted, but we'll always ask first.
11Things you may not do
The short list
- Place fraudulent orders, or orders using a payment method that isn't yours
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the site
- Attempt to interfere with the site's security or availability
- Resell our products commercially without our written agreement
- Misrepresent a fault to obtain a replacement you're not entitled to
We may refuse service, cancel orders, or close accounts where we reasonably believe any of the above has occurred.
12Accounts
If you create one
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. We may suspend or close an account that's being misused.
13Our liability
What we are and aren't responsible for
We're responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for:
- Loss of profit, business, revenue, opportunity or anticipated savings
- Indirect or consequential loss of any kind
- Delays in delivery caused by carriers or events outside our control
- Loss arising from an incorrect delivery address you supplied
Where we are liable, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
What we never exclude.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer.
14Events outside our control
Force majeure
We're not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control — including severe weather, natural disaster, war, civil unrest, epidemic, strike, carrier failure, supplier failure, power or network outage, or government action. If such an event significantly delays your order, we'll contact you and you may cancel for a full refund of anything not yet delivered.
15Changes to these terms
Version at time of order
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you placed your order, so a later change never alters a contract already made. The date at the foot of this page tells you when it last changed.
16Governing law and disputes
Where things get settled
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by Belgian law, and the courts of Belgium have jurisdiction.
This doesn't strip you of your local protections.
If you're a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country or state where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
Before anything formal, please email us. Almost everything is resolved faster and better that way than through a dispute process.
If you're in the EU, the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17Odds and ends
The standard clauses
Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
No waiver. If we don't enforce something straight away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Returns, Shipping, Payment, Cookie and Privacy pages, are the whole agreement between us regarding your purchase.
Assignment. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another business, which won't affect your rights. You may not transfer yours without our agreement.
Third parties. Nobody other than you and us has rights under this contract.
Questions about any of this
If something here is unclear, or you want a term explained before you order, write to us. We read every email and normally reply within one to two business days.
